The latest James Bond film Spectre premier’s in London on 26 October and with it one of Bond’s more stylish gadgets will be revealed – Omega’s Seasmaster 300 “Spectre” Limited Edition.

It has been 20 years now, since GoldenEye, that Bond has sported an Omega on his wrist. And although this limited edition will not feature detonators or lasers, it does contain several advanced features. One of the standout features is Omega’s recent anti-magnetic mechanical watch movement innovation, which delivers a more reliable timepiece.

But the allure of this watch does not rely on technical specifications. What is more likely to attract consumers is the fact that it is the first time in Bond history that you can actually wear the exact timepiece that the spy wears in the film. Until now, Bond enthusiasts have only had the opportunity to purchase commemorative editions.

If you’re a Bond fan, there’s one thing we advise: be fast. And that’s not mere Bond promotional talk. The watch is now available for pre-premiere purchase and there are only 7,007 pieces available. And judging by the 45% increase in consumer interest for the Omega Seasmaster Collection after the launch of Skyfall (WorldWatchReport), this limited edition timepiece will sell quickly.

There’s one other reason why we expect this watch to fly off the scene as quickly as Bond himself: the price. Unlike Omega’s Constellation Baguette, which has a price tag of $708, 742, the “Spectre” Limited Edition goes for a comparably invisible price of CHF 6,800.
